Event Information
Stroud Bicentenary Progressive Dinner
Come for the food, stay for the stories!
Join us for a very special evening of good food, great company and shared stories as part of the Stroud 200 celebrations.
This isn’t your usual dinner, it’s progressive – by the table!
On arrival, fetch yourself a drink from the bar and mingle during the first course grazing table. For the main course, you will sit at your first allocated table, then you’ll move to a new table for dessert, giving you the chance to meet different people throughout the evening. It’s an opportunity to reconnect with old friends, make new ones and discover the many different stories and connections that bring people back to Stroud for its Bicentenary.
As the courses are dished up in this generous shared-style dinner, the conversation will flow and you’ll have the chance to share your own Stroud story - whether you grew up here, have family connections, have called Stroud home at some point, or simply have a special connection to this remarkable town.
It’s an adult-focused celebration of food, friendship, memories and the people who make Stroud what it is.
So come along, pull up a chair, share a meal and swap a few stories. You never know who you’ll meet at the next table!
A relaxed and social evening celebrating 200 years of connections to Stroud.
Age suitability: This is an adult-focused event, designed around relaxed dining, socialising and conversation. We encourage guests to leave the kids at home and enjoy an evening out with friends, old and new.
